Throwing clay on a wheel wild fun. Throughout the term we will cover the basics of wheel throwing and the ceramic process, including safety, wedging and clay preparation, centring, throwing, trimming, attaching components and glazing using the beautiful selection of glazes.

The cost of the course is $420 and provides materials:

Team building events and private parties are available at the pottery shed. All of our courses, especially beginners wheel throwing, sell out very quickly. Class times vary and you will attend the same time slot each week over the duration of the course.

The creative possibilities are endless, whether you’re looking to try a casual saturday pottery class or build your skills during a longer ceramics course. Class includes 2 sessions of clay fun: Experience the joy of ceramics during this 8 week course, where you will learn how to create your very own food safe ceramic items using the potter's wheel.

Classes are a mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced students, wheel throwing is taught for every level and new techniques are introduced as students progress to the next term.
